Frequently asked questions
Is Tarakhi really free?
Yes. There is no setup fee and no subscription for the first 12 months. The only charge is a 2% platform fee on payments processed online through Tarakhi. Cash and payments taken on your own card terminal carry no fee at all. Before the free period ends we'll give at least 60 days' notice of any subscription, and you can leave without penalty if you don't accept it.
How and when do I receive online payments?
Online payments are collected by Tarakhi through a licensed Saudi payment gateway, then settled to the IBAN you enter in your settings, net of the 2% fee. Settlements typically arrive within 3–7 business days, and every payout is itemised in your sales report.
Can I still take walk-ins and cash?
Absolutely. Add walk-ins directly to the calendar and mark them as paid in cash or on your own terminal. Those bookings are tracked like any other, and there is no Tarakhi fee on them.
Do I need special hardware?
No. Tarakhi runs in the browser on any phone, tablet or computer. Your team can each log in with their own mobile number.
What about cancellations and no-shows?
You set your own cancellation window (24 hours by default). Clients who cancel in time are refunded automatically; you can require online payment at booking to protect against no-shows. WhatsApp reminders cut no-shows further.
Can I use Tarakhi in Arabic?
Yes — the booking page and WhatsApp messages support Arabic and English, and the partner agreement is available in both languages.
